Who will win each NFC division this year?

I based my decisions for the winners of each division on statistics, previous year’s records, the number of injury-prone starters each team has and many other factors. Enjoy!

NFC East: New York Giants
The Giants have a future star quarterback in Eli Manning. He also has one of the best offensive lines in the game. The signing of Antrel Rolle was a huge asset to the Giants’ defense. The Cowboys will be a tough contender in the NFC East.

NFC West: San Francisco 49ers
Alex Smith may not be the best quarterback in the NFC West, but he has some potential. Vernon Davis is one of the most underrated tight ends in the league last season with 78 receptions for 965 yards and 13 touchdowns. Frank Gore also has some good seasons left on the ground. The defensive line will bring some sacks. Patrick Willis will likely lead his defense with inside tackles. Cards can also fight for this spot, so be on the lookout.

NFC North: Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers is the leader of this team and is forecast to have another pro bowl season if the pass protection is better this season, which will be due to the signing of Brian Bulaga. Jennings and Driver should put up another 1,000-yard receiving season. Woodson is one of the best corners in the game and he will continue to improve. The packers should have 3-4 pro bowlers this year. The Vikings can beat them at this spot, but if Favre doesn’t come back, the Vikings don’t stand a chance.

NFC South: New Orleans Saints
The Saints have all their star players back after winning the Super Bowl in February, which will help them repeat as champions. I also think Drew Brees will come back and have a stellar season and be the No. 2 quarterback in the league behind Peyton Manning. The only real threat to drive the Saints out of this place is the Falcons if they can stay healthy.
