autosuggestion for achievement

The power of suggestion was scientifically proven. An interesting experiment was narrated by Baron Nils Posse in his famous book, ‘Hypnotism’.

The Experiment was carried out by a scientist during the time of Napoleon III. Here a scientist procured a criminal with the consent of Napoleon III to discover the relationship between the body and the mind. The criminal was sentenced to death by law but handed over to the scientist to carry out his experiment. The criminal thought that his death was certain. The scientist informed the man that he was going to open his carotid artery. The criminal was made to understand that his blood would be drawn by bleeding him to death on a particular day. On the date set, the scientist had the offender tied to a table blindfolded, however they left his ears free so he could hear anything, in that state the scientist took a needle and made a slight scratch on the neck of the criminal and so he fixed a small water faucet that was leaking water into a container below. Silence prevailed around them. The delinquent heard the sound of water falling from the faucet and since he was blindfolded, he believed that the sound was his own blood coming out of his body, he remained in that condition and died six minutes later. They only gave him a slight scratch and in fact not even a drop of blood came out of his body, but still he died because he believed that his own blood was coming out when he heard the sound of the tilting of the water faucet. He firmly believed that his death was inevitable and that is why he died. Such is the relationship between the mind and the body. What is believed or thought in the mind is actually carried out in the body.

The above experiment explains very well the power of suggestion. By using suggestion one could overcome his elements and problems.

Emile Coue, the authority on autosuggestion, writes: “The repetition of the same words will force you to think, think them, and when you think them, they will become true for you and become reality.”

Every day in the morning we have to repeat the curative suggestion for about fifteen minutes. At night, just before going to sleep, this can be repeated again for fifteen minutes for better benefits.

Coue composed a suggestion in the French language since he was French. This was translated into English by Orton. The general formula for all purposes is this: “Day by day, in every way, I am getting better and better.”

Whoever repeats this every day will get immense benefits.

The mysterious power of suggestion will be explained later in this series.
