Silence the world around you: noise-cancelling headphones review

One can enjoy music or listen to any audio even traveling in a noisy vehicle like an airplane without turning up the volume and without disturbance with a noise canceling headphone. Going through various portals, you will find that there are various models available. So the confusion is obvious about which one to choose. So here is the solution of your dilemma. I’m taking some of the popular, in fact, the best models available and providing you with a quick review for your perusal. Currently Bose Quite Comfort 3, Sony MDR-NC 500 D, Sennheiser PXC 300 and Sennheiser PXC 350 are the best headphones available online.

Bose Quite Comfort 3 is the smallest headphone. It’s available with a full-size earpiece which is good for those who don’t prefer headphones. Although it is composed of strong bass, it sometimes provides dirt in the sound. But overall it has impressive sound quality and costs around $349.95. Sony MDR300 is the average of the reviewed headphones. Its noise cancellation is better for use at home and elsewhere, but it’s not good for frequent flyers as it can’t reduce aircraft noise. It has a mute button for the microphone and the battery can be recharged by plugging the headset into the wall. It is priced high at around $399.99.

Sennheiser PXC 350 is not that light. It has larger ear cups with softer cushions that fully fit everyone’s ears and provide total isolation. It has a unique feature called “talk” that allows you to hear what the flight attendant is talking about. It has a volume control on the right ear cup. The overall sound quality is good. The finish of the model is very impressive compared to all other noise canceling headphones. It is even better than the new version – Sennheiser PXC 450. Sennheiser PXC 350 is more affordable as it is priced much lower than all previously reviewed headphones.

After testing the PXC 300, the observations are that the headphones are small. It is extremely light and comfortable. The drawbacks are that the noise canceling unit is in the separate wired unit that can be removed from the earphones and also the noise canceling is good when flying on a plane but the sound of slightly loud speech will definitely be audible to you. But it is cheap if you find the other earphones to be expensive. Go for it, as it’s only $199.99. Otherwise, you have to choose between the other two reviewed headphones because they provide better sound quality (except Sony MDR300).
